Gate 0.1.0, and the Action at v0

  • The gate's version 0.1.0 is tagged (v0.1.0), and the GitHub Action is aurelien64/shipglot@v0. The npm package is not published yet.
  • shipglot translate: --no-memory, --include-untranslated and --files; translation memory sent with each request; words and cost per locale.
  • shipglot push: send translation files to the reviewer editor; hosted translations arrive as "needs review" with their decision notes.
  • Reviewer editor (not open yet): filters for suggestions, comments and files; approving a string with a QA error asks first; "Same as source is correct"; placeholder checks while typing; a baseline for imported projects.
  • Website: docs and quickstart, FAQ, security, legal pages and this changelog. Tool pages are called checkers. Plural forms a language needs can be added in the xcstrings and Android tools, and needs-review flags cleared.

First build

  • The QA gate: CLI (check, lock, status, init), 13 file formats read and written in place, text, JSON, SARIF and GitHub reporters, and the GitHub Action.
  • Browser tools for xcstrings, ARB, Android strings.xml, RESX, XLIFF and PO, framework guides, a page for each check, and price comparisons.
  • Built but not open yet: hosted translation with a model test battery and routing, prepaid Stripe billing, the GitHub App, SAML single sign-on, signed webhooks, over-the-air delivery, a VS Code extension and an MCP server.
