You pay for source keys.
Your band is the month's highest number of source keys across all your projects. Seats, languages, projects, file formats and features are never counted, and every band has all of them, the free one included. AI translation is included: each month, 10 words per source key for each language, up to 60 languages.
Hosted translation is not open yet. These are the prices it will open with. The QA gate is free and open source.

translationschecked by shipglotWhat counts
- A source key is one string in your source language, such as
auth.failed. Translations of it into other languages do not count again. - Translation included: each month, every target language gets one full pass over your project: 10 words per source key for that language, for up to 60 languages. Regional variants in the same script share one allowance, so pt-BR and pt-PT count as one language. Words left in one language cannot be used for another. Beyond that, prepaid credits at $10 per 100,000 words. Normal use does not reach it.
- Open source: public repositories with an OSI-approved licence get unlimited keys for free, with a README badge.
- No account needed for the QA gate CLI and GitHub Action.
